Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 6 cardamom pods (crushed)
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 star anise pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (1-inch) ginger knob
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey

Instructions

Step 1

In a medium pot, bring water, cardamom, cloves, star anise, cinnamon, ginger, and salt to a boil for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from heat and let stand for another 5 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in almond milk and honey.

Step 4

Strain the chai into a cup and enjoy!
